Refund and Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with our products. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, we offer a straightforward 30-day return period for a refund on products that we sell, subject to the terms of this document.

We also offer the original purchaser a 1-Year Limited Warranty on Dauntless Devices LLC physical products that covers repair or replacement due to defects.

The return and refund process is as follows:

  1. You contact us via our website Contact Form within 30 calendar days of the original shipment date, clearly stating that you’d like to return the product, and providing your name, shipping address, order number, and a working e-mail address.
  2. If it was a physical item (eg not just downloaded software), we will then e-mail you a return shipping label (USA customers) or our return shipping address (international customers), and you will have 5 calendar days from that date to drop off your return package at the shipping provider.
  3. Within 3 business days of us receiving the returned product, we will inspect it and issue a refund, less the cost of shipping and handling charges.

Items Purchased from a Reseller or Marketplace (eBay, Amazon)

If you purchased our product via a reseller or via a marketplace and are experiencing a problem with it, please contact us first so that we have the opportunity to resolve the issue with the product. If you do still wish to return the item for a refund, the terms and conditions of the reseller who you had purchased from will apply, and you would need to contact them directly to complete that process.

Limitations and Exclusions

  • You must provide us with your name, shipping address, order number, and a working e-mail address. We have to be able to find your original purchase in our direct sales records, and we have to be able to contact you.
  • You must be the original purchaser of the product and had purchased the product directly from us, with an original shipment date no longer than 30 calendar days prior to contacting us and clearly requesting a refund.
  • Any physical products must be returned with all parts in like-new condition, and dropped off at the designated shipping provider within 5 calendar days of us providing you with a return shipping label.
  • Once we receive the product, we have 3 business days to inspect it before accepting it for a refund. Business days shall exclude standard US bank holidays and any additional closures that are noted on our website.
  • We do not offer repeated refunds for the same purchaser and product type, except for the reasonable case of defective or inoperable products.
  • We do not offer refunds for items that were damaged due to improper installation, external electrical faults, misuse, dropping, accidents, or other physical or electrical harm.
  • We do not offer refunds for perishable or consumable items that have been used or had a seal opened (eg fluids, stickers, wear items, etc.)
  • We do not offer refunds for items that had been soldered, modified, or otherwise integrated into other circuitry or products, unless the item is shown to be defective.
  • We do not offer refunds where you or another party had violated or breached the licensing or other agreement terms of the product, or where intellectual property (eg copyright, patent, trademark, etc.) or other laws had been violated.
  • Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
  • Non-US customers are responsible for return shipping and handling to our address in the United States.
  • Any refunds shall be based on the original price paid to us for the item, after applying any coupons, discounts, etc.
  • Any refunds will be issued back via the original purchase method, unless that is impractical for us to do for any reason, in which case we may choose an alternate method at our discretion.
